This upazila has been known as the land of sports and culture since time immemorial. There is immense interest in sports among the people of all walks of life starting from the students of this upazila. The local administration is also always trying to expand the sport here. As a result, inter-upazila tournaments are held at different times. As a result, the students of this upazila are especially interested in sports, which plays a helpful role in building a healthy nation.
